Sterkwater Boerdery submits to the Global Gap certification system.

Sterkwater Boerdery has Dohne Merino sheep and are very proud of it’s Black and Red Angus cattle which is housed on the farms.

Sheep

Sterkwater Boerdery has Dohne Merino sheep who stay during the cold winter months on the farms situated in the Ceres Karoo where the dry and warm climate is ideal for the ewes to lamb. During this period all sheep his sheared. Shortly after the winter all sheep is returned to the Koue Bokkeveld farms where they stay for the annual production auction held during April.

Cattle

Sterkwater Boerdery is proud of it’s Black and Red Angus cattle which is housed on the farms.
